Never got the funding for the arena and it was the same Aces fan you met that was trying to do it. Barry Schoenly.

He seemed like a nice fellow and had passion. I guess the story was he was friends with one of the Aces owners. We had a nice exchange when I was heckling the goalie. that whole group they had was a fun bunch to sit next to. Too bad since williamsport is close enough by that he wouldn't be interested in somehow being involved with hockey here!

He tried getting a group together when Afr wanted $17mil for the building and like I have said before there is no way to make the numbers work with a price that high.

Maybe now that Afr is almost out of the picture(atleast regarding the arena)come next year he will become re-interested?

Met him thru a couple of other folks. Nice guy. Knows his hockey. Just can't see him getting in now after all of this. Also spends half his time last I knew in Alaska so I doubt he would want to deal with that.
