The 6-2, 212-pounder began his pro career with the Pee Dee Cyclones of the SPHL in 2006. He had two goals and 19 assists for 21 points in 53 games. The 26-year-old Slusher hails from Bel Air, Maryland.

Tomkow has played the last four years in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, playing in 209 games. The 21-year-old St. Albert, Alberta native scored 34 goals with 69 assists for 103 points in his junior career.
