Mudbugs Acquire Blaznek
Bossier City, OK - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs added some star power to their roster today, landing high-scoring forward Joe Blaznek in a trade with the Corpus Christi IceRays and signing him to a contract for the 2008-09 Central Hockey League season. Blaznek comes to the Mudbugs in exchange for the rights to forward Daniel Pegoraro.

Poulsen and Thoring Sign for 08-09
Bossier City, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs have added two more players for the 2008-2009 Central Hockey League season with the signings of forward Neil Poulsen and defenseman Clay Thoring. The newest additions give the Bugs five players under contract for the coming season.

Delia Named Mudbugs President & GM
Bossier City, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the Central Hockey League today announced the hiring of Ray Delia as their President and General Manager. Delia returns for his second stint in the Mudbugs' front office after serving as the team's President and GM during its first three seasons in the Western Professional Hockey League. He has served in the General Manager's role for four different franchises over the past 11 years.

Lupul Returns for Mudbugs
Bossier City, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs have re-signed another key performer from last year's Governor's Cup winning team with the return of defenseman Dale Lupul for the 2008-2009 Central Hockey League season. Lupul will enter his fourth professional season and third as a member of the Mudbugs when the team opens up at home against Texas on October 17th.
