Cincinnati Cyclones Games Air On MAX FM

Cincinnati, OH - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League and 2008 Kelly Cup champions, announced this morning that they have entered into a radio broadcast agreement for the 2008-09 season with MAX FM (97.7 and 99.5). A total of 30 regular season games, all road games, will be carried on the stations.

"MAX FM is very excited to partner with the Cincinnati Cyclones," Heather Frye, Station Operations Manager, Cincinnati, said. "The Cyclones are the first professional sports team here in Cincinnati to win a championship since the Reds won the World Series in 1990, 97.7 and 99.5 MAX FM is proud to support the Cincinnati Cyclones 2008-2009 hockey season. We are hoping for another winning year. This will also be a chance for Cyclones fans to tune in and discover MAX FM and the great variety of music we play."

The Cyclones 30-regular season game radio broadcast schedule will be released shortly, with Cyclones Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting, John Hamel calling the play-by-play action. All 72 regular season and playoff games during the 2008-09 season will be carried on www.cycloneshockey.com, the official club website. In addition, any road playoff games will be carried on MAX FM as well.

97.7 and 99.5 MAX FM is a First Broadcasting Operating, Inc. owned station that features a unique blend of music from the 60's thru today. Currently there are no D.J.'s on MAX FM, making the music intense, and our audience is growing everyday.
