Vigier came to the Snakes last year,
putting up impressive numbers in his first professional season. He
started the season on a strong note with three consecutive wins,
including a shutout in just his second professional game.
In 31 regular season games played, Vigier posted a 13-12-4 regular
season record, finishing fifth in the league among goaltenders with a
3.19 Goals Against Average and .917 save percentage. For his efforts,
he was one of six players in the league named to the all-rookie team.
"I am just elated to have two number-one goalies with Ian and Chad,"
head coach Jerome Bechard said. "Ian really came in last year and
proved himself as a number-one goalie, and to have Ian and Chad both
here pushing each other couldn't be better for the Columbus
Cottonmouths. We will have a chance to win every game this year because
both of these guys are capable of stealing games for you."
