Dayton, OH - Dayton Bombers Head Coach Bill McDonald announced today the addition of right winger Zach Pearson to the 2008-09 roster. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Pearson, a 5-foot-10-inch, 185-pound native of White Lake, Michigan, played four years at Ferris State. He appeared in 148 games throughout his career, tallying 81 points (24g,57a) and 223 PIM. He led the team in scoring as a senior with 9 goals and 21 assists for 30 points, earning the team's Lloyd Earl Trophy.

"Zach is a real competitor," said McDonald. "He's an excellent skater with great foot speed, which will definitely be an asset to the team."

Most recently, the 24-year-old Pearson split the 2007-08 season between the Fury and Mississippi of the Central Hockey League. He logged 41 games with the River Kings during the regular season, picking up 11 points(4g,7a), and an additional three post-season contests.

"I'm looking forward to a good season," Pearson said. "Each year is a chance to take my career to the next level and I can only do that by being a team player. Hopefully I can contribute to the ultimate goal of bringing home a championship to Dayton."
