Elmira, NY - After a month long search the Elmira Jackals, a proud member of the ECHL and affiliate club to the Ottawa Senators and Binghamton Senators, have found their new voice. Nick Hulberg from the Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League will bring his youth and energy to the Jackals organization.

"We are excited to have Nick join the First Arena/Elmira Jackals family! Nick is an energetic and talented young man who has done quite a bit for the Bismark Bobcats! Like most who play and work for teams in the ECHL, Nick has a desire to move up to the American Hockey League and National Hockey League levels."

Hulberg, a native of Minot, North Dakota, is a diehard sports enthusiast that grew up playing hockey. After his days of being a goaltender, Hulberg joined the Bobcats organization in 2004 where he held the position of "Voice" of the Bobcats, Sales Executive and Director of Game Operations. In addition to his experience in hockey, Nick has spent over 350 hours behind the microphone of the North Dakota Motocross Association and acted as the "Voice" of the Minot Sky Rockets of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA).

Most recently Hulberg was selected by the North American Hockey League to broadcast the 2008 NAHL Showcase and the 2008 NAHL National Tournament. Nick brings high energy to his broadcasts and is looking forward to the opportunity in Elmira.

"I couldn't be more excited to join the Jackals organization," Hulberg stated. "The ECHL is a great league to be a part of and to become a member of the Elmira community is even better. The Jackals have an immense following and I am looking forward to being a part of their continuing success.
