FireAntz Re-Sign Defenseman Snyder

| Fayetteville, NC - The Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that the club has re-signed defenseman Lawne Snyder. He becomes the third returning player under contract for the upcoming season, joining forward Marc Norrington and goaltender Chad Collins. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Snyder, a 5'9'', 180-pound defenseman from Peterborough, Ontario enters his second season with the club. Last season he joined the FireAntz after playing 24 games for the Heerenveen Flyers in Holland. In 21 games with the FireAntz Snyder tallied six goals and 13 assists for 19 points.
"We expect Lawne, once again, to be a big part of our team and to build off of last season's successes." Head Coach Tommy Stewart added, "I think he's one of the best offensive defensemen in the league. He's got a great first pass as well as a great shot on the power play."
