Player/Assistant Coach Hessler Re-Signs with FireAntz

Fayetteville, NC - The Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that the club has re-signed defenseman Corey Hessler. He is the second defenseman signed for the upcoming season, joining defensive partner Lawne Snyder. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hessler, a 6'1'', 205-pound defenseman from Mendota Heights enters his second season with the club. Last season the player/assistant coach tallied nine goals and 33 assists for 42 points. He also had 96 penalty minutes.

"Corey is an outstanding leader and we are thrilled to have him back in the fold." Head Coach Tommy Stewart added, "He's definitely a key to our success and is looking to build upon what we accomplished last season."
