minutes. In 2006-2007, Mathieu played 38 games with the Rio Grande
Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League where he notched two

have to have to be successful," said Head Coach Peter South. "His
desire to compete and willingness to work to make himself a more
rounded player made him very attractive to us."
Mathieu played
two seasons (2004-05 & 2005-06) with the Lewiston Maineiacs of the
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) where in 134 games he netted
11 goals and 18 assists for 29 points and 422 penalty minutes.
The
Generals also signed forward Ben Boudreau, who will be attending the
Hershey Bears of the AHL training camp this fall. Boudreau played in
the Eastern OHA Senior ‘A' League last season with Frankford. During
the regular season, Boudreau had 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points.
In the post-season Boudreau again didn't disappoint by picking up two
goals and four assists for six points in seven games.
"Ben is a bit of an unknown, but I had the good fortune to see him play
and saw he has the potential to be an impact player in our league,"
said South. "You can see that he possesses a tremendous amount of
skill, and that he's received great coaching throughout his youth as
he's as positionally sound as any young player I've seen".
