Fort Wayne, IN - Goalie Tim Haun, while being named the IHL's Goaltender of the Week for the second straight week and third time this season, won both games he appeared in to match his personal best of 15 wins in a season while with Huntsville of the SPHL during 2008-09.
Haun also posted back-to-back shutouts for the first time in his career when he stopped all 38 Flint shots Friday night in Fort Wayne for a 3-0 win after stoning the Gems in Dayton the previous Sunday 3-0 on 30 saves.
Sunday Haun scored a 5-3 victory over the Quad City Mallards on Coliseum ice making 34 saves on 37 shots. For the week Haun allowed three goals on 75 shots in two games for a 1.50 goals-against average and.960 save percentage. The Solsgirth, Manitoba native pushed his win streak to five games and is unbeaten in regulation seven games in a row (6-0-0-1).
