A four year letter winner at Bowling Green University out of Buffalo, Minnesota, Geelan collected 11 goals and 8 assists for 19 points in 138 career collegiate games. During his senior season last year, Geelan finished even or better in 31 of 38 games despite finishing with a -4 rating.

Prior to attending Bowling Green, Geelan played two years for the Chicago Steel of USHL. He notched 11 goals and 18 assists for 29 points in 59 games, including 5 power play goals, three game winning goals, 63 penalty minutes and a plus 10 rating in the 2003-04 season. He split time with Chicago as well as Des Moines during the 2002-03 season in the USHL.

Bresser comes to the Gladiators after completing his senior season at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He led the Sabres in scoring during his senior season posting 35 points. A native of Waupun, Wisconsin, Bresser was named to the MCHA (Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association) All-Conference Team this past season.

He appeared in 109 games in his collegiate career notching 102 points off of 57 goals and 45 assists ranking sixth on the Sabres' all-time scoring list. His 12 career shorthanded tallies are also a school record.

Bresser's 40 career goals in MCHA conference play share ninth all-time in league history. He established new MCHA league records for shorthanded goals in a season as he notched five during the 2007-08 season as well as in a career finishing with eight. His six shorthanded goals in NCAA Division III play ranked first overall during the 2007-08 season.
