Stamoulis Dealt to Reading

Duluth, GA - The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have traded defenseman Dinos Stamoulis to the Reading Royals for undisclosed consideration.

Stamoulis notched 6 points, all assists, last season for the Gladiators as he was one of five players to appear in all 72 regular season games. Stamoulis also played in 7 of the Gladiators 2008 Kelly Cup Playoff games.

The Carle Place, New York native began his professional career during the 2006-07 season with the Toledo Storm where he appeared in 14 games after completing his final collegiate season at Providence College.

In 142 career collegiate games at Providence College, the 6-foot-0, 190-pound defenseman recorded 7 goals and 20 assists for 27 points. He also accumulated 108 penalty minutes for the Friars during his collegiate career.
