Montreal, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that forward Max Pacioretty has been assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs from the Canadiens.
Pacioretty, 21, has played in 52 games with Montreal this year earning 14 points (three goals, 11 assists) and 20 penalty minutes. The native of New Canaan, Connecticut has played in 86 career NHL games registering 25 points (six goals, 19 assists) and serving 47 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-2, 196-pound left wing played in 37 games with the 'Dogs in 2008-2009 posting 29 points (six goals, 23 assists) and serving 43 penalty minutes. Pacioretty was drafted in the 1st round, 22nd overall by Montreal in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
