Hamilton, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today that the club has recalled forward Maxime Lacroix from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL to the Bulldogs. Lacroix is scheduled to join the team in Rochester for their game against the Americans tonight.
Lacroix, 22, played in 16 games with the Bulldogs earlier this season earning one assist and two penalty minutes. In 25 games with the Cyclones in 2009-2010, the 6-foot, 190-pound left winger has posted 19 points (13 goals, six assists) in 25 games. The native of Quebec City, Quebec recorded 64 points (33 goals, 31 assists) in 63 regular season games with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL where he won the Kelly Cup Championship with the club. Lacroix was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 5th round, 127th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
