Huntsville, AL - Huntsville Havoc Head Coach, Eric Soltys, announced today that the team has signed forward Tristan Lush.
Lush
(6-1, 210) played in six games for the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the
ECHL in 2004-05. Before turning pro, he played in 178 games from
2000-2004 at Clarkson University. He scored 25 goals and recorded 49
assists. He spent the 1999-2000 season on the Green Bay Gamblers of the
USHL where he scored 15 goals and recorded 22 assists in 58 games.
"Tristan is a coach's dream when it comes to the "complete hockey
player" on the ice," Soltys said. "He is a guy that prides himself as a
highly reliable defensive zone player that stops and starts and
explodes in transition looking to be a playmaker. He will be a leader
and valuable member of our front lines."
Lush was a top
recruit out of the Boston area landing at prestigious Division I
Clarkson University where he missed only 1 game in his four-year
career. He served as the captain of the Golden Knights in his final
season. He was an ECAC All-Tournament selection and now co-owns a very
successful sport specific training facility with his brother Zach in
Melbourne, Florida.
