Kalamazoo, MI - The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce goaltender Ryan Nie has been returned from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.
Nie, who has missed the past two K-Wings contests, has made 21 appearances for the K-Wings earning a record of 13-7-0-1, a goals against average of 2.80 and a save percentage of 0.910.
In his recent loan to Houston, Nie made 14 saves in a 5-3 loss last Friday to Milwaukee.
