Dumont Announces Retirement
Southaven, MS - The Mississippi
RiverKings of the Central Hockey League (CHL) offer congratulations to
veteran forward Louis Dumont on his appointment as new general manager
of the Louisiana IceGators of the Southern Professional Hockey League
(SPHL). Dumont moves into the Louisiana front office after a lengthy
and successful playing career that included playing his last five
seasons as a member of the RiverKings.

RiverKings Claim Mironovic off Waivers
Southaven, MS - The Mississippi
RiverKings today claimed defenseman Danko Mironovic off waivers.
Mironovic is expected to be in the lineup for the RiverKings this
weekend, when they begin the final weekend of the regular season at home
against the Allen Americans at Southaven's DeSoto Civic Center.

Defenseman Maslonka Departs Roster

Milan Maslonka has been placed on the team suspension list and has left
the team for personal reasons.

RiverKings Among CHL Best of the Best
Southaven, MS - The Mississippi
RiverKings of the Central Hockey League were again represented in this
year's Central Hockey League "Best of the Best" poll, an annual survey
done by league members to determine their favorites in 50 different
areas, from best overall player, best body checker and best fighter
pound-for-pound, to best arena, arena concessions, host hotel and
booster club.
