Southaven, MS - The Mississippi RiverKings of the Central Hockey League have made a number of roster moves in preparation for this weekend's play at home.

The RiverKings play host to Southern Conference leader Odessa on Friday, January 8th in Southaven at 7:05 PM and host Allen on Saturday, January 9th in Southaven, also at 7:05 PM.

Returning to the active roster will be Stephen Margeson, who has been on the 14-day injured reserve list since November 21st.

Placed on the 14-day injured reserve list, retroactive to December 29th is defenseman Dane Marshall.

In addition, goaltender Ray Jean has been waived, as new goaltender Tim Boron has signed his contract, following a trade that sent him and defenseman Kevin Truelson to Mississippi. The trade sent goaltender Ian Keserich, defenseman Steve Makway, and forward Kevin Cooper to the Thunder.

Before being placed on the injured reserve list, Margeson had played in 17 games, scoring two goals and adding an assist for three points with 23 penalty minutes.

Marshall is placed on the IR list after scoring three goals and adding nine assists for 12 points with ten penalty minutes in 29 games.

Boron brings to Mississippi a record of 1-3-0 in four appearances in Wichita this season, a 5.00 GAA, and a save percentage of.828.

Last year with the Thunder, Boron posted a record of 6-11-1 for a 2.59 GAA and a save percentage of.926.
