Muskegon, MI - The Muskegon Fury and goaltender Isaac Reichmuth have come to terms on a contract for the 2008-09 season, the team announced today.

Reichmuth, 25, posted a 13-12-3-0 record for the Fury in the regular season last year, including four shootout victories, tied for the most in the International Hockey League.

In the playoffs, Reichmuth was 1-3 with a 5.01 goals against average and an .881 save percentage. In Game 1 of the series against Fort Wayne, he posted a shutout through regulation and over 15 minutes into overtime before losing, 1-0.

"We are happy to have Isaac back between the pipes," Fury Coach Bruce Ramsay said. "He has the potential to be a top goalie in this league. We saw what he can do when he is healthy, and that is be a difference-maker."

Reichmuth will be in his third year as a professional after a four-year career as a starter at University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he posted a record of 56-48-15.

He has played 55 games in his professional career in time with the Fury and the Alaska Aces of the ECHL. His career record is 26-17-7 , with a 3.05 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.

"Isaac is a great addition for this team," Fury general manager Tim Taylor said. "With him in the fold, we can turn our attention to finding some help on defense."
