Rio Rancho, NM - The New Mexico Scorpions and Citadel Broadcasting have signed an agreement for three years. All Scorpions games will be broadcast on 610 The Sports Animal or 1050 KTBL.
For, this the third season in the Santa Ana Star Center, the "Voice of the Scorpions" will be Adam Minnick. Each game broadcast will feature 15 minute pre-game and post-game highlight shows.
"I
am excited to stay with our friends at Citadel," said Minnick. "610 The
Sports Animal has been the premier sports talk station in this market
for years and is a great fit for our product."
In addition to the
games, twice a month Citadel will carry "Scorpions Roundup. The show
will feature Scorps head coach Randy Murphy along with players talking
about all that involves "Scorps Nation." Dates and locations will be
announced shortly.
"The relationship with Citadel goes far beyond
our game broadcasts," said Gary Gelinas, Scorpions president/general
manager. "The marketing partnership we are continuing to build on will
make more people aware of the great entertainment the Scorpions provide for the State of New Mexico."
