Odessa, TX - The Central Hockey League's Odessa Jackalopes announce today that Sebastien Thinel will return next year for another season in a Jacks uniform. The 27-year old forward led the Jackalopes last season in goals (34) and was tied for the team lead in assists (49). His 83 overall points last year were also tops on the Odessa roster, and 10th in the CHL.

"He's a fantastic player, and he's a great leader for us," said Jackalopes' Head Coach, Paul Gillis, "and his numbers last year certainly reflect that."

Thinel has spent five of the last six years wearing a Jackalopes logo. During his Jacks career Thinel has scored 140 goals and 203 assists for 343 overall points. He is the all-time leading goal scorer and overall point leader in Jackalopes history. His 203 assists are third all-time in franchise history.

"Sebby is the type of player that you build your team around, which is why we want him here year after year," added Gillis.

A press conference will be held on Tuesday, May 27th to officially introduce Thinel for the upcoming season starting at noon.
