Jacks Sign Finnish Goaltender; Joly Returns
Odessa, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes announced today that they've signed 21-year old Finnish goaltender Juha Toivonen for the upcoming 2008-2009 Central Hockey League season. The team also announced that physical defenseman Mario Joly will return to the Jackalopes' blue line.

Jackalopes Join Islanders Family
Odessa, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes announced today that the organization has entered into an affiliation agreement with the National Hockey League's New York Islanders for the 2008-2009 season. The Jacks will also serve as an affiliate of the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, New York's top farm team based out of Connecticut.

Jacks Trade Brannen to Rocky Mountain
Odessa, TX - Today the Odessa Jackalopes completed a trade which sent defenseman Chris Brannen to the Rocky Mountain Rage in exchange for future considerations. Brannen spent the last three seasons in a Jackalopes uniform, appearing in 184 games and scoring 33 points (seven goals, 26 assists).
