Rush Well Represented In CHL's "Best Of The Best" Poll
Rapid City, SD - On Tuesday morning, the Central Hockey League released the results of its annual "Best of the Best" poll, highlighting the top three individuals or organizations in 46 categories. The Rush were represented in fourteen different categories and voted #1 in five areas, including "Best Coach" and "Best Fans".

Battochio Named Sher-Wood/TPS CHL Goaltender of the Month
Tempe, AZ - The Central Hockey League announced today that Danny Battochio of the Rapid City Rush has been named the Sher-Wood/TPS Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Month for the month of January/2010. Battochio will receive a portable DVD player, courtesy of Sher-Wood/TPS, to recognize his accomplishment.

Pelle Named Sher-Wood/TPS CHL Player of the Month
Tempe, AZ - The Central Hockey League announced today that forward Jon Pelle of the Rapid City Rush has been named the Sher-Wood/TPS Central Hockey League Player of the Month for the month of December/2009. Pelle will receive a Sher-Wood/TPS portable DVD player, courtesy of Sher-Wood/TPS, to recognize his accomplishment.

Rush Send Plume To Bossier-Shreveport
Rapid City, SD - The Rapid City Rush announced today that they have completed a trade with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, swapping defenseman Clay Plume for Kirk Medernach. The Rush will also receive future considerations in the deal.

Hodge Named Oakley CHL Player Of The Week
Rapid City, SD - On Monday afternoon, the Central Hockey League announced that Rush center Brendon Hodge has been named Oakley CHL Player of the Week. Hodge has been a vital part of a Rush squad that has won a league-high nine consecutive games. In 22 games played, the veteran forward has accumulated 21 points (9-12-21), 11 of which have come on his current five-game point streak.
