Aug 19, 2008 Rush Announces Second Player-Assistant The Rapid City Rush today announced the addition of Mark DeSantis as the second Player-Assistant under Head Coach Joe Ferras. The two have had experience with the system as DeSantis served as a Player-Assistant for the Amarillo Gorillas from 2002-2004 during which Ferras was head coach.

Jun 17, 2008 Rush Signs CHL All-Star Goalie The Rapid City Rush have added former Austin Ice Bats goaltender Miguel Beaudry to their goal-tending tandem. Beaudry has played in the Central Hockey League for five years starting his professional career with the New Mexico Scorpions in 2003, and most recently having played for the Austin Ice Bats.
