Rochester, NY - Florida Panthers General Manager Jacques Martin announced today that Rochester Americans assistant coach Jason Cipolla will remain in his current position for the 2008-09 American Hockey League season. He enters his second season as a coach and fourth with the team. The Panthers also announced today that they have retained Bob Janosz, who will also serve as the team's video/strength & conditioning coach/ goalie coach.

"We are very pleased to have retained both Jason and Bob," said Martin. "They are both very familiar with the Rochester organization and have established relationships with several of our players. We look forward to their continued contributions to the Rochester organization."

"We're very excited to have Jason back with us," said Gage. "He did a tremendous job with us last year and he has definitely established himself as a coach in the American Hockey League. He's been in the red, white and blue before and he knows what Amerks hockey is all about. I'm confident he will be a great complement to Benoit (Groulx)."

"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to be back behind the bench with the Amerks," said Cipolla. "I enjoyed my first year as a coach last season and I look forward to working with Benoit and the players to continue the tradition of Amerks hockey."
