Broomfield, CO - Rocky Mountain Rage goaltender Scott Reid returned to the club today after trying out with the American Hockey League's Quad City Flames, the top player development affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames.
Reid appeared in one pre-season game for Quad City, recording 16 saves during a 4-1 win over the Iowa Chops on Oct. 4.
He re-joins the Rage as they prepare for their first pre-season tilt of the new Central Hockey League campaign tomorrow night against the Colorado Eagles at the Budweiser Events Center at 7:05 p.m.
Rocky Mountain then hosts the Rapid City Rush on Friday, Oct. 10, at Broomfield Event Center in the team's second and final game of the pre-season. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
The Rage also made one roster move today, releasing goaltender Cameron Clemenson. The club now has 25 players in training camp, which must be pared down to 19 players by Oct. 16 when Season Opening Rosters are due to the CHL.
