SPHL Approves Sale of Mississippi Surge
Charlotte, NC - The Southern
Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced that the SPHL Board of
Governors has approved a Transfer of Ownership for the Mississippi
Surge from Coast Hockey, LLC. to Surge Ice, LLC, a group headed by Tim
Kerr, who also owns the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

RiverHawks Announce Head Coach Ralph to Return
Augusta, GA - The Augusta
RiverHawks Hockey Club has announced that they have agreed to terms with
Head Coach Brad Ralph for the 2011-12 season. Ralph is the Southern
Professional Hockey League's reigning Coach of the Year, an honor
awarded to him following his first season coaching professional hockey
in the RiverHawks' inaugural season.
