Van
Horlick joined the Salmon Kings on September 17, 2007. Van Horlick, 33,
began his professional coaching career with Victoria behind the bench
with General Manager and Head Coach Mark Morrison.

past year has left us in a good position."

joining the Salmon Kings the Kamloops, BC native had an 11-year
professional career (1995-96 through 2005-2006) that saw him

his retirement from the game, Van Horlick became the On-Ice Director
for the J Robinson Intensive Hockey Camp program in Minneapolis, MN;
Bowling Green, OH and Morrisville, New York. He also served as the
Western Scout for International Scouting Services during that time.
He
