The Wheeling Nailers will hold the 2008 Professional Hockey Placement Camp at the Ice O' Plex, on August 8,9,and 10. General Managers, Head Coaches and Scouts will be invited from NHL, AHL, ECHL, and MAHL teams. This Tryout Camp will be open to the public for all sessions.

The 2008 Nailers Tryout Camp is the 1st Annual Open Tryout, offering invitations to the 2008 Nailers Training Camp, in preparations of their ECHL season.

A minimum of 4 players will be invited to the Wheeling Nailers Training Camp in October. Only the most qualified players will be accepted. Camp fee is $300.00, which includes on-ice sessions and two-night hotel accommodations. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required with registration.
