Is there any truth that the American Conference will be its Own LEAGUE next year East Coast Hockey League

and that the WCHL(west coast hockey league) will be a 12 team Own LEAGUE

First of all, who are the 12 western teams for 09-10? And second, they could accomplish the same thing by eliminating east-west games but still playing under the ECHL rules and banner. It's more likely that we'll have 4 divisions again with 4-6 teams in each.... assuming we can keep 8 teams in the west.
