Now would be the time for the IHL to take a shot at Troy to put a bandage team in the Dayton area.

Troy's building is old, but can't be any worse then another 1,500 fans in Port Huron.

Why is this "rumor" section just filled w/ ideas? Kinda makes it pointless....at least title the threads accordingly w/..........."I think......"

Because you can't put it in the normal section.

Oh, well, I agree....the IHL needs to take advantage of the no hockey in Dayton thing one way or another.

Hara is the better option. It's bigger (about 6,000 seats) and doesn't have obstructed view seating like Hobart (think Wrigley Field and their polls holding up the upper deck...same thing at hobart only they hold up the ceiling).

The IHL needs to jump on this...

Great idea except for who's going to own/run the franchise? I don't dsiagree that getting a franchise in Dayton while the Bombers go dark a year would be a great thing, but in this economy who's willing to take the risk?

Who said the Bombers were only going dark for a year?

You think they will be out longer?

I don't think the Bombers come back...but I think hockey does return next season...
