Winston Salem is out for the 2009-10 season due to some financial matters that could not be worked out in time to begin play this season. they are still planing for the following season2010-11.
Pensacola confirmed to the league yesterday that they would begin play for the 2009-10 season.:sad:

since i am the person who will own the winston team i am telling you what has happened and when i spoke with the league office yesterday they confirmed to me that pensacola was going to play...

We are at the point of no return, if your going to play next season, you better have all your ducks in a row NOW ! Otherwise ownership will end of footing all the bills outside of ticket sales. In other words, sponsorship money at this point mostly has been alloted by bussiness. And a new upstart team better have some head hunters on staff, not the 4.0 grad from the class of 2009, you must have a staff that has a 4.0 in real life, knows the game and what it can offer, and how to sell it.

You are only as strong as your weakest link, and if any team new or old think you can come at this with cheap labor or washed up wannabes I have news for you, your mistaken and set up for failure, how much $$$ can you lose ?

Yes they are back! They are going to be playing their home games in James Brown arena in Augusta, GA.
