Heard from someone up north that this guy bailed out on the team.

He's not on the ice tonight.

With Tremblay suddenly leaving and Desrochers' rumored departure, it makes you wonder what exactly is going on. That's not a good sign for an organization when you have multiple players bailing in such a short period of time.

Tremblay has some personal issues going on. Who knows what Desrochers deal is.

That's the cover story about Tremblay: personal issues. Somebody in another forum who is close to the situation has already said Tremblay's decision was more business-related than personal.
Desrochers? Somebody just up and leaves a team with no explanation...and that's not indicative of some internal rancor? At least with Tremblay, the Mallards attempted to offer up an explanation.

We had this same crap happen in the AHL with a couple players. Sometimes it just happens. I honestly don't think it's anything against the team or anything. But you always assume the worst.
I didn't hear the same thing about Tremblay as whoever on the other message board did. It wouldn't be the first time someone on a message board got something wrong (whether it turns out to be me or the other guy that is wrong).

When crap doesn't add up, there's usually a reason.
Tremblay left suddenly, for which the team at least offered an explanation of his departure. Whether that was true or not, we'll never know, but the point is QCHT acknowledged the situation.
Desrochers is MIA from the Bloomington game and we don't know whether he's hopped a plane to Quebec to console his own fiancee...or if he just got really drunk and fell into a Porta Potty. The Mallards have to know that WE KNOW he was missing from Wednesday's contest in Bloomington.
What's the hold up? Is there a bidding war for the rights to his story?

Who cares? If Desrochers doesn't want to be here for whatever reason then it is a personal issue. Even if he had a disagreement or something with somebody it doesn't matter. Because we have a number of guys who like it here just fine, who get along with coach just fine, etc. I'm sure there are more guys out there who would fit in just fine.
Yes, all guys will give you lip service that they like it here, but it's actually very easy to gage their sincerity level. The guys I've met seem very sincere. It's almost a dead giveaway when you meet one that doesn't want to be here. They really stand out.
No I didn't meet Desrochers. But there are dozens if not hundreds of guys out there that would love to be getting paid to play hockey. Bring one of them in and move on with life.

He's still on the roster.....and they pretty much keep that updated.
