Me too! Who knows what the league is going to look like two months from now, much less two seasons.

No offense to the mods, but why is this thread still on the IHL forum?
Why hasn't it been moved to the "rumors section", or better yet, deleted altogether?

Not even sketchy enough to be a rumor.

But, he has a "friend" who "heard" stuff.
If two failed pizza guys with unpaid debts galore can start up an IHL franchise in Dayton, why can't this guy's friend hear things about an IHL franchise in Indianapolis?

This has got to be the longest-running rumor in hockey by now.
Two words: Paul Skjodt.
'nuff said.

The Indiana Ice announced today that they have signed an extension offered by the Indiana State Fairgrounds through the 2010-2011 season.
The Ice extended their agreement by only one year. Their only purpose is to keep the hockey market satisfied until Rich Owens/Bruner can recapitalize and bring his dream of owning an Indianapolis IHL to fruition. He will be releasing a very poorly written press release in the near future.
I know this for a fact. A good friend's second cousin twice removed heard it from his uncle's nephew's boss.
